# Yaadify pricing calculation system

Current implementation, 20 October 2026. Amounts are proposed SAR retail/planning prices and allowances, not confirmed supplier costs. No separate profit margin, commission or tax is automatically added by the app. Final availability, permissions, supplier quotes and applicable taxes/extra costs require agreement before confirmation.

## Tour total

Group total = photography and editing + local vehicle/driver transport + entry/activity allowance + local guide/host/coordination + selected video add-on.

The tour total covers a private group of up to four travelers. It is not multiplied by the number of people within the allowed group. Larger groups require a custom quote. Hotel/resort pickup, travel to the tour locations, and drop-off back at the same accommodation are the transport scope. Airport/intercity arrival transfers are not included.

Photography/editing and guide/host amounts are set individually per route. Entry/activity amounts are proposed budgets, not live published admission prices. Some packages have no entry allowance. Prices and deliverable counts are stored with the package; no supplier availability feed is connected.

## Twenty-three Riyadh location routes

- Driver duty rate: SAR 90 per hour, including waiting and the tour duty period.
- Distance rate: SAR 3 per planning kilometre for the entire hotel–tour–hotel circuit.
- Use the midpoint of the route's planning distance band, rounded up to a whole kilometre.
- Transport = max(SAR 350, duty hours × 90 + planning km × 3), rounded up to the next SAR 50.
- Distance bands are planning estimates from central Olaya, not measured hotel-to-location road distances. Final pickup address, gate and route require confirmation.
- Video add-on: SAR 1,100 for these routes below five hours, or SAR 1,500 for five hours or longer. Site permission still applies.

The same formula now covers the six additional places-guide routes: Zallal SAR 1,900 (transport 550), Diriyah Art Futures SAR 2,200 (transport 600), Naila Art Gallery SAR 1,650 (transport 400), ROSHN Front SAR 1,800 (transport 600), Saqer Al Jazirah Aviation Museum SAR 2,000 (transport 550), and VIA Riyadh SAR 1,800 (transport 500). Each total is per private group of up to four, including the stated planning allowances; optional video adds SAR 1,100.

## Three earlier Riyadh routes

These retain their fixed line-item amounts. The new transport formula is not applied to them.

## AlUla routes and accommodation pickup

Transport = max(SAR 350 × number of tour days, duty hours × 90 + planning km × 3), rounded up to the next SAR 50.

Planning km is the midpoint of the route/pickup-area distance band, rounded to a whole kilometre. Five pickup areas are supported. Selecting a listed hotel derives the pickup area on the server. Two-day route bands represent the full transport circuit across both days; hours represent total duty hours. Do not multiply either a second time.

Selected total = published base tour price − base-area transport + selected-area transport + optional video add-on.

Published one-way hotel-to-attraction kilometres or minutes are shown as separate reference information; they are not substituted for the whole-tour planning circuit. A property with no supported pickup area requires a custom quote.

## On-demand photography and videography sessions

Session total = round(one-hour base rate × duration multiplier) + optional video highlight add-on.

For Riyadh the one-hour proposed rates are: portraits SAR 450; family SAR 550; couples SAR 600; events SAR 700; wedding/engagement SAR 800; videographer SAR 900. Other cities use their package's base rate. A photo-session highlight add-on is SAR 300. A videographer package already includes video, so a duplicate video add-on is rejected.

## Twenty Jeddah photography routes

Jeddah uses the same proposed driver-duty rate (SAR 90/hour), distance rate (SAR 3/planning km), SAR 350 minimum, and rounding up to SAR 50. Its bands start at central Al Andalus / Tahlia accommodation in Jeddah, never Olaya in Riyadh. Each band covers the entire hotel/resort–location–same-accommodation circuit, including driving/waiting time. These are original planning estimates, not mapped road measurements or live traffic quotations. Other pickup districts need a custom quote.

Jeddah total = route photography/editing + route transport + the listed group/crew entry/access budget + local guide/host/coordination + chosen video. Tour prices cover up to four travelers. Video adds SAR 1,100 below five hours and SAR 1,500 for five-hour routes, only where the venue permits it. No airport, intercity, offshore or separate Red Sea resort-destination travel is included.

Example: Al-Balad is SAR 1,950 = photography/editing 1,100 + transport 550 + guide/host 300. Transport: 4 × 90 + 48 planning km × 3 = 504, rounded up to 550. Optional video takes the proposed total to SAR 3,050. Standard-entry budget is zero for this exterior walk; museum/private-house interiors and special permits are excluded.

Five access-dependent proposals (Khuzam Palace, sculpture collection, Nesma, teamLab and Silver Sands) accept custom inquiries only, not direct booking requests. Their amounts are planning estimates pending access, supplier and professional-shoot approval. Hayy accreditation and other venue permissions must also be arranged before confirming any ordinary planning request. teamLab editing/reproduction follows its own approved scope.

The full list, prices, transport inputs, aliases and source links are in `/data/jeddah-photography-tours.csv`. Two generic Jeddah photo/video bundles are retired from new bookings so the new location routes are not duplicated; existing booking metadata is retained.

## Makkah Ziyarat photography tour

One five-hour guided photography circuit for up to four Muslim guests: Jabal Al-Nour/Hira surroundings, Mina and Muzdalifah by authorised road, Arafat/Jabal ar-Rahmah as one stop, and Jabal Thawr base. Hotel/resort pickup and return to the same central Makkah accommodation are included. This is distinct from the existing shorter family/city packages.

The 60–100 km full hotel–circuit–hotel band, with 80 km midpoint, is an original Yaadify planning allowance from central Makkah. It is not a measured hotel route, published road distance or live traffic quotation. Five hours include driving, waiting, visits and breaks. The server derives `central-makkah`, 80 planning km, SAR 700 transport and the group total from the catalog, not submitted browser prices.

Visitor/crew eligibility, Hajj-period road controls and location-specific professional photography permission are reviewed before confirmation. No Hajj/Umrah ritual services, entry permits, mosque interiors, cave climbs, airport pickups or intercity transfers are included. Proposed prices do not copy or resell a GetYourGuide supplier price. No extra margin, commission or tax is automatically added.

## Other-city complete tours

The existing shorter Makkah family/city tours, Madinah tours and Red Sea tours use pre-set itinerary prices for their stated inclusions. They are not recalculated by adding the Makkah Ziyarat route or the new location-route transport formulas. Each route's included transport and excluded access/arrival costs govern its scope.

## Quote controls

The server calculates the stored total and transport amount from the catalog and supported pickup area. Values submitted by the browser cannot override prices. This is a request system: no payment, instant provider assignment, confirmed venue access or guaranteed departure is created by submitting a request.

## Expanded Makkah ziyarah collection · 20 October 2026

18 distinct proposals cover 12 individual area visits, four nearby circuits (including the retained classic route), one 8.5-hour day and one Maghrib/evening circuit. Aisha/Taneem/Tan’im, Hira/Jabal Al-Nour base, Arafat/Jabal ar-Rahmah and Al-Bay’ah/Al-Aqabah are each one location identity. A bundled itinerary intentionally combines places into a different service scope. Original shorter family/city packages remain available separately.

New collection group total = the listed photographer/editing package + local van/driver + guide/coordination/water. All packages cover up to four travelers. The transport formula is max(350, duty hours × 90 + full-circuit planning km × 3), rounded up to SAR 50. Bands refer to central Makkah hotel/resort → route → same accommodation. They are planning allowances, not measured hotel road distances. Exact hotel, road restrictions, permits, taxes and final supplier costs are confirmed before acceptance.

New-route optional video = SAR (550 + duty hours × 170), rounded up to SAR 50, for a videographer and one 60–90 second film. This is a proposed creative-service rate, not a transport supplement. The original five-hour circuit retains its SAR 1,500 video supplement and original SAR 2,250 photo total.

Daytime timing uses a NOAA-based astronomical sunset estimate for Makkah (21.4225 N, 39.8262 E), UTC+3. It is not an official adhan or mosque iqamah timetable. Day routes target hotel return 60 minutes before estimated sunset; Maghrib options target mosque arrival 45 minutes before sunset. The chosen date, visit window and pickup must fit the buffer; the server validates them and appends its computed timing plan to the booking notes. Evening visits pause for Isha and target return by 23:30. The guide confirms actual prayers, opening/access and traffic before accepting the request. No arrival time or admission is guaranteed by a calculation.

Al-Khayf and Al-Mash’ar al-Haram have seasonal prayer access. Nimrah interior access is not promised. Prayers use confirmed operating mosques and are camera-free. Mina-only, Muzdalifah-only, Al-Rayah, Hudaibiyyah, Al-Fath and the northwestern Al-Fath circuit currently accept access inquiries only. No factory or museum admission is invented. The complete CSV contains all 18 routes, prices, component amounts, pickup bands, prayer anchors, sources and permanent URLs.


## Red Sea individual resort photography tours

Each proposal covers one selected property for a private group of up to four. A hotel stay or admission, venue hire, crew travel to private islands and permission for an external photographer are separate. Hotel/resort lobby pickup, the agreed photo route and return stay within that property. Pickup from another hotel or island needs a custom quote. No airport or intercity transfer is included.

Mobility is an allowance for the resort-approved buggy/local vehicle or accessible route agreed for the shoot, not an exact-distance measurement or a guaranteed private vehicle. No road kilometres are invented for resort routes. These amounts are Yaadify planning prices, not hotel room rates or confirmed operator charges. An operating hotel does not establish professional-shoot permission. Opening-soon and opening-status-to-confirm properties accept inquiries only.

## Malaysia photography and video packages

All calculations use SAR as the booking and payment basis. Display MYR or another selected currency is an approximate conversion using the displayed exchange-rate date. The currency choice does not change the underlying package rate.

Tour total = active shooting hours × city photographer rate + SAR 100 editing allowance + the listed fixed local vehicle allowance + local coordination + any listed boat/skipper allowance. Each tour lists its own active shooting hours separately from the total route duration. Optional tour video = active shooting hours × SAR 250 + SAR 150; final film scope is shown in the tour.

On-demand photographer base rates are SAR 280–400 per hour depending on destination, plus the listed occasion supplement. Two-hour sessions use 1.7 × the one-hour base; four-hour sessions use 3 × the base. Photography includes 25 / 50 / 100 edited images respectively. The on-demand videographer base is the city photo rate + SAR 220.

Hotel/resort pickup and return apply only within the stated local pickup area. Road and boat allowances are proposed budgets, not measured distances or contracted supplier fares. Guest/crew attraction admission, park, landing and camera fees, special permits, airport/intercity arrivals, accommodation and meals are excluded unless explicitly listed. Operators, access, weather, exact address, capacity, taxes and final quote require confirmation before acceptance.

## UAE photography and video packages

SAR remains the booking and payment basis. AED and other selected currencies are approximate display conversions using the exchange-rate date shown in the app. Currency selection does not change the underlying package rate.

Photo-tour creative coverage = active shooting hours × city photographer rate + SAR 150 editing allowance. Add the explicitly listed fixed local vehicle allowance, local coordination and any boat/skipper allowance. Tour video add-on = active shooting hours × SAR 350 + SAR 200. It proposes one 60–90 second edited film, one 15–30 second vertical highlight and one revision. Driving, queues and breaks occupy the remainder of the total route duration.

On-demand photographer base rates: Dubai / Abu Dhabi SAR 500; Ras Al Khaimah / Hatta SAR 450; Dibba Al-Fujairah SAR 420; Sharjah / Al Ain / Fujairah / Khor Fakkan SAR 400; Ajman / Umm Al Quwain SAR 380. One-hour occasion supplements: portraits SAR 0, family/birthday SAR 100, couple/proposal/anniversary SAR 150, wedding/engagement SAR 350, event SAR 250. Two-hour sessions use 1.7 × the one-hour base; four-hour sessions use 3 ×. Photo deliverables are 25 / 50 / 100 edited images. The optional session video add-on is SAR 800, with scope agreed before confirmation. An on-demand videographer starts at the city photo base + SAR 350; longer-session multipliers follow the same rules.

Example: Dubai Downtown tour = two active shooting hours × SAR 500 + SAR 150 editing + SAR 200 local vehicle + SAR 150 coordination = SAR 1,500 per private group of up to four. Optional video is SAR 900, bringing the proposed combined total to SAR 2,400.

Local tour transport is hotel/resort → agreed stops → the same accommodation, within the stated pickup area. Vehicle and boat amounts are planning allowances, not measured road distances or confirmed supplier fares. Hatta, Al Ain, Khor Fakkan and Dibba have their own local pickup areas; cross-city departures are separately quoted. No airport or border transfer is included.

Guest/crew tickets, park/landing/camera fees, professional filming permits, venue hire, accommodation, meals, decorations and unlisted activities are excluded. Managed or seasonal venues accept access inquiries until operating dates and professional-shoot permission are confirmed. A general admission ticket does not grant professional filming rights. Exact address, crew, operator, vehicle capacity, access, weather, taxes, extras, delivery date and final price are agreed before acceptance.
